Jung Yong Hwa and Park Shin Hye Participate in ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

The ALS Ice Bucket challenge is a campaign meant to raise the awareness and donation for ALS or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (also known as 'Lou Gehrig's Disease) - a neurodegenerative disease that affects motor neurons in the brain and spine.

The Ice Bucket involves a person pouring a bucket of ice water over his or her own head and challenging three others to do the same or donate to fight ALS. The ice water symbolize the effect of being "frozen", or paralyzed. Since it started, celebrities around the world have participated in the challenge.

On August 21st, Jung Yong Hwa's agency 'FNC Entertainment' uploaded a video on their official YouTube channel showing the actor's participation in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

It was also the same date when Park Shin Hye's agency 'S.A.L.T. Entertainment' uploaded a video in YouTube about our Princess participation in the same challenge.

[Dooley Couple] Park Shin Hye and FNC Artists Spotted in a Coffee Shop

Our Dooley Couple met again!

On the day of the VIP Movie Premiere of FTISLAND's Lee Hong Ki big screen debut "Passionate Goodbye", Park Shin Hye and other FNC Artists were spotted in a coffee shop.

The photo above shows that Park shin Hye was siting beside CNBLUE's maknae, Kang Min Hyuk (the one who wore yellow) while Jung Yong Hwa was sitting on the other table.

To clarify, Yonghwa & Shinhye was not in the same table (as most of the couple shipper says) because there are media too. Haha :D

Here's the photo as a proof that they are not on the same table.

Don't worry co-shippers, although we did not see any proff that our couple is on the same table, at least they met again and that's the most important right? We really don't know after this fan-cam below, Yonghwa maybe changed her seat ('cause his co-members in CNBLUE was on the table where Shinhye is sitting).

The said Movie Premiere was also attended by other FNC Entertainment artists (which is the same label of FTISLAND and CNBLUE).

CNBLUE's Yonghwa withdraws on SBS upcoming drama 'Heirs'

It was reported recently that CNBLUE leader, Jung Yonghwa confirmed on SBS upcoming drama, "Heirs", but it seems like he changed his decision as he turned down the role.

Jung Yonghwa's agency, FNC Entertainment said "The agency and the production company failed to reach an agreement on Yonghwa's character." The production company respected the singer's decision to leave the drama.

In addition, "Yonghwa plans to concentrate on his music and currently busy with other CNBLUE members on their world tour. Also, he has been receiving many offers from many productions, so he will be acting again soon." an agency representative said.

Jung Yong Hwa joins Park Shin Hye & Lee Min Ho in SBS "Heirs"

It was revealed that Korean actress Park Shin Hye confirmed that she will be in a new drama on SBS "Heirs" with Lee Min Ho.

On April 15, FNC Entertainment, announced that CNBLUE's leader Jung Yong Hwa will be joining the drama with Park Shin Hye and Lee Min Ho.

This will be the third drama of Jung Yong Hwa and Park Shin Hye together as they acted on SBS "You Are Beautiful" and MBC "Heartstrings"

Meanwhile, CNBLUE is busy on their 2013 Blue Moon World Tour while Park Shin Hye is also busy on her 2013 Kiss of Angel Asia Tour.

"Heirs" is set to air in SBS this October 2013.

Jung Yonghwa made a Song for CNBLUE School in Africa

MBC's Section TV interviewed Korean Boy Band CNBLUE on its April 14, 2013 episode. They talked about the school in Africa, that they supporting continuously.

CNBLUE Leader, Jung Yonghwa also revealed that he made song as gift and use it as the school song.

The band is currently busy on their 2013 Blue Moon World Tour, the proceeds and donations go to the school in Africa. They also expressed that they want to build a second school.

[INTERVIEW] Standing on the boundary of sneakers and suits, a 25 year old Jung Yong Hwa

Amidst the influx of idol dance groups during year 2010, here comes a boy band that can perform and sing well. Other than the good looks, CNBLUE also has the potential in performing. Although all four of them have different charms but there's one who attracted more attention. He is the one who would stand on stage and shout "everyone make some noise! (소리 질러)", the band leader and vocalist, Jung Yong Hwa. Guitar-vocalist Yonghwa is like a shoelace that would loosen the shoe, in fact, Yonghwa is actually a man who is similar to a carefree and comfortable pair of sneaker. 

No longer giving out the feel of rebel and tough look in past music shows, he has the refreshing youth look just with grey tee and casual jeans. 

He exceptionally likes running shoes/sneakers and would gladly spend any amount on it. "I would buy a lot of sneakers with many different designs. I must go to the store and try it personally before buying, just like buying clothes. I haven't tried buying things online before." Lately, he kept wearing huge diamond shaped ear studs or the one with rolling stone symbol on it. "For accessories, I only wear ear studs now. I used to like wearing rings and bracelets but now I think it’s a hassle to wear so many of it. It would be inconvenient for me to play the guitar if i wear rings so i seldom wear it. But I think watches are worth collecting so I wear it sometimes.” 

Although he is like normal youngsters who pay attention to fashion, he would not dress up himself because he felt that there is no event/not a need for him to do so. Therefore he often wears simple tee and jeans. This might be the reason why he looks forward to the days where he can wear formal suits to award ceremony. He smiled and said: “I think I look good the most when I wear suits.”

Looks like Jung Yong Hwa has a body and height suitable for wearing suits. “I don’t work out on purpose. I go to the gym occasionally but it’s just to maintain my body shape. I like to eat a lot, so unlike other idols, I wouldn’t go on any special diets.” Yonghwa has a great body without having to restrict himself from eating and has a clean complexion too. Even with the trend of plastic surgery nowadays, he did not undergo any of it. His indistinct double eyelid makes his pair of eyes more charming. 

“I’m most satisfied with my eyes, especially the mole under my eyes because it’s unique and I’m the only one having it. I am not satisfied with my high cheekbones the most. Whenever I see myself smiling on screen/tv, the cheekbones become very outstanding.” Because make up is compulsory whenever he goes on shows, pimples will grow on skin easily but Yonghwa has a clear and bronze skin colour. (?) “Although I go for skincare management, I wouldn’t specially take care of my skin complexion at home. I’m the type that will only apply the cream when the lotion and cream are being placed in front of me. 

As compared to people of his age, he has stepped into the social world, has gained experiences more than others and he is only 25 years old. He is at the age where he can throw tantrum whenever he wants, spend and enjoy fun time with his friends. However, just like the idol we see on tv that would always smile happily, he would show his genuine smile unconsciously. He said just sometimes he has blissful moments when he really feels like smiling.

“Most happy moment will be during the concert. Being able to sing and interact with fans and at the same time hearing applause is the most blissful moment.” CNBLUE who is busy preparing for world tour has garnered attention from their home country and even internationally. “Ultimate dream is to get first place in Billboard Chart. Just like Psy sunbae, who is able to let Korea music be known and recognized by the world.” When Yonghwa is saying this, he is firm and shows no hesitation. As compared to other questions during the interview, he answered this with confidence. After finish answering this, he said “See you in our concert on May” with a naughty expression. He is really a pure passionate person but full of professionalism. 

Yonghwa, sometimes using slight informal language conducting this interview, is very different from the one we saw on stage. He did not show any hypocrisy and silently walks his own route to success with rookies thought and clear goals in mind. He is looking forward to one day when CNBLUE’s music will be played in New York Time Square, and let everyone in the world goes wild with their music.

Online portal site ‘dcinside‘ began the new year with a poll that asked netizens, “Which male star born in the year of the snake are you looking most forward to in 2013?”. After receiving a total of 6,253 votes, Yonghwa came out on top.

CNBLUE's leader Yonghwa won the ‘Hallyu Star Award‘ at the ‘2012 K-Drama Star Awards‘.

The ceremony, held on the 8th at the Daejun Convention Center, awarded Yonghwa for his work on television dramas, such as ‘You’re Beautiful‘, ‘Heartstrings‘, and ‘Gentlemen’s Class‘.

Fellow CNBLUE member and also the maknae, Minhyuk also received the ‘Rising Star Award‘.

Park Shin Hye will attend 2012 MAMA in Hong Kong

Actors widely loved across Asia will participate in 2012 Mnet Asian Music Awards (2012 MAMA) in Hong Kong at the end of this month.

These celebrities include Park Shin Hye, Jung Woo Sung, Song Seung Heon, Song Joong Ki, Yoon Eun Hye, Han Chae Young, Lee Dong Gun, Jung Il Woo, Kim Sung Soo, Kim Kang Woo, Oh Ji Ho, Jung Gyu Woon, Cho Yoon Hee, Ko Joon Hee and Yoon Si Yoon (which is Shin Hye's co-star in her upcoming drama "Flower Boy Next Door"). SBS K-POP SUPER CONCERT was first scheduled to happen last August 10 in Home Depot Center - 18400 Avalon Blvd, Carson, CA 90746. But it was postponed as they announced it on their official Facebook page few months ago.
