CN BLUE’s Yonghwa reveals his dream to reach #1 on American Billboards

CN BLUE‘s Jung Yonghwa revealed his ultimate goal as a musician.

On March 26th, CN BLUE held a showcase and press conference, ‘Enjoy Launch Party for EAR FUN‘, at the Eltower in Seoul. During the press conference, Yonghwa confessed, “I don’t know if you will laugh when I say this, but since I was young, my dream was to place 1st on the American Billboard chart.”

He added, “I’m happy because I feel like, little by little, I’m fulfilling my dream. During our hiatus, I think it was good that we were able to have an overseas tour and even perform in the United States.”

Yonghwa then stated confidently, “From now on, I want us to reach the top with our abilities.”

CN BLUE released their 3rd mini-album, ‘EAR FUN‘, on the 26th KST. The album contains six songs, including their title song ‘Hey You‘, and harbors a modern-rock feel as well as displaying the band’s versatility with rock & roll.

Park Shin Hye makes a grand finale of TGC Girls Collection

Actress Park Shin Hye made a grand finale of a fashion show in China.

On March 26, 4HIM Entertainment, Park’s agency, reported, “Park Shin Hye made a grand finale of the 2012 TGC Girls Collection in Shanghai on March 24 as a representative of Korea, China, and Japan.”

TGC Girls Collection is a grand-scale event in Asia that combines music and fashion. With the goal of promoting cultural exchange among Korea, China, and Japan, and creating fashion culture in Asia, the collection was held for the second time this year in Shanghai after the first one in Beijing.

According to Park’s agency, this is Park’s second time to make a grand finale of this collection. Besides Park, there were also other celebrities who represented Korea, China, Japan, and Taiwan, such as Sasaki Nojomi and w-inds from Japan, Xianchi from Hong Kong, and Kunling from Taiwan.

Park received many people’s attention at the fashion show with her confident walk. 4HIM Entertainment says, “It was her first visit to Shanghai. Thanks to the fans’ hearty cheers, Park Shin Hye could pleasantly finish the event. It was a great show that presented Park Shin Hye’s charms, and we’re very happy that she could make a grand finale of the show as a representative model of Korea.

CNBLUE Korean Comeback Showcase

CNBLUE will hold a comeback showcase called “Early Lunch PARTY for EAR FUN” on March 26 at 11am at Yangjae-dong iL Tower in Seoul to introduce 3 new songs to the press and media.  

Comeback showcases held in the morning are quite uncommon as artists usually unveil their new songs late in the afternoon or evening but CNBLUE decided to be unique and host their showcase during the morning. 

"We did not intended to for the event to happen in the morning. Our main target is to showcase their new songs calmly" said an agency official of CNBLUE. 

He also added this partly due to the busy schedules of each members.  With Kang Minhyuk currently starring in My Husband Got a Family on KBS and Lee Jonghyun preparing for his role in SBS’ A Gentleman’s Dignity, "the members have a very busy schedule ahead of comeback" continued the official.

Meanwhile the band's new pre-released song “Still In Love” is faring well on the charts, and they will be promoting their title track “Hey You” after their new album ‘EAR FUN‘ drops officially on March 26th.

CNBlue Nomination In MTV VMAJ Japan 2012

CNBlue Nominated In The Best New Artist Video

 

MTV Japan has revealed the nominees for MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2012 (VMAJ 2012) on March 19 and among the mentioned groups was CNBlue for their music video 'In My Head'.

The MTV VMAJ 2012 will be held at the Makuhari Messe Hall on June 23 and is hosted by girl group Perfume. The nominations are eligible for Japanese and Western music videos and albums released in Japan between March 1, 2011 and February 29 2012.

The online voting is open from March 19 till June 8, vote at MTV Japan’s Facebook page and click the red button to cast your vote. You can vote once per day per category, by voting you join a chance to win an Amazon gift card.

Title of CNBLUE’s comeback track revealed

As popular Hallyu band CNBLUE prepares for a Korean comeback, the title for their teaser track was revealed.

The track, which had previously gathered attention on the internet as “Jung Yong Hwa‘s self-composed track“, was revealed to be titled “I Still Love“. On March 16th, the single and an accompanying video clip will be officially released through CN Blue’s official Youtube page and the main page of Korean portal site Nate.

Furthermore, March 19th will kick off the gradual release of promotional posters featuring each individual member.

Currently, CN Blue is simultaneously preparing for a musical comeback as well as forays into the acting arena. Member Kang Min Hyuk will star in KBS 2TV‘s “You Rolled in Unexpectedly” as a loveable playboy. Also, Lee Jong Hyun will star in SBS‘s weekend drama, “Gentleman’s Dignity“.

CNBLUE to release Yonghwa’s self-composed track ahead of mini-album comeback

CNBLUE will be releasing Yonghwa‘s self-composed track off of their upcoming mini-album along with a video of the song-recording process!

The song will be released on various digital sites on March 16th, along with a special video on YouTubethat shows the process of the members’ recording session. Fans are already highly anticipating their comeback album ever since the release of their teaser website back on the 8th.

As reported earlier, the website is currently running an event that allows fans to match up different spellings of a cube to guess the album’s new title track.

FNC Music stated, “CNBLUE has been busy with their international activities, but they’ve been preparing a lot for their comeback as well. There’s a different color in this album that is still CNBLUE’s own.”

In related news, CNBLUE recently completed a concert with labelmates F.T. Island in Los Angeles and are now back home to finish up their album.

CNBLUE wants you to guess the title of their 3rd Mini Album

On the 8th day of March, the official website of Korean band CNBLUE has been updated with a contest for their upcoming 3rd Mini Album.

When visiting the website, visitors are greeted with “Guess what is CNBLUE’s new album title” and a six sided cube with a letter appearing on each side. The letters are R – A – E – F – N – U and they want you to rearrange it to come up with the correct title. Winners will have an opportunity to take a photo with the boys and receive autographs.

The contest is valid from March 8th to March 21st only.

Park Shin Hye Tweet Photos for her Gifts Gave by Fans

As we all know, Korean actress, Park Shin Hye celebrated her 23rd birthday (Korean age) last 18th day of February in Seoul, South Korea through a fan-meeting. She also celebrated it in Japan (also through a fan-meeting) on the 24th day on the said month.

Park Shin Hye updated her twitter last 1st day of March. She uploaded several photos with the gifts gave by her fans.

The photos was the gifts that our Princess Shin Hye received from her fans in different countries. She took several photos in different angles for her fans to see it in near view.

She even received 'Heartstrings goodies' - the first drama team-up of our Dooley Couple. Although the drama was not a big hit in Korea, foreign fans love it.
