[PHOTOS|VIDEO] CNBLUE at “KBS Olympic London 2012 Festival”
To commemorate the South Korean athletes of the 2012 London Olympics Games, KBS held a special “Olympic London 2012 Festival” at Yeouido Park in Seoul. 150 athletes were in attendance and some of the medalists even performed on stage.
Performing at the event were some of Korea’s top artists including CNBLUE.
South Korea proved to be an athletic powerhouse at the Olympics surpassing it’s goal of 10 gold medals by achieving 13 gold medals (fifth overall) and finishing in the top 10 with 28 medals overall.

Park Shinhye, Jung Yonghwa & Lee Hongki to bring 'warm encouragement' to Japanese earthquake children victims
On August 21, the You're Beautiful actors will participate in the 'Hopes, Dreams, Happy Trip to Korea' fundraising event hosted by non-profit organization GFSC at 5pm in Insadong, Jongno-gu Seoul to encourage young victims affected by the Japanese Tohoku earthquake in March last year.
GFSC said the event will be an encouragement from Korea people to the Japanese earthquake victims, and will also aim at promoting tourism as cultural performances and a tour around Changdeokgung Palace, Hongdae and major Seoul areas is included from August 19 to 23.

Jung Yonghwa and Park Shinhye first acted together in You’re Beautiful (2009 SBS) and then in Heartstrings (2011 MBC). Having gone through difficult and happy times together, they have become friends at work and supportive to each other, they are friends who can simply understand each other just from each others’ facial expression.
On 16th July 2012, both of them held a Heartstrings fanmeeting in Japan. We will show you their natural sides through this interview!
Q. We have been waiting so long for the both of you to promote together in Japan! How did you feel when you first heard of the fanmeeting?
YongHwa: We have been thinking about when we could hold the fanmeeting for a long time.
ShinHye: Yesyes, I have been waiting for the chance for us to promote together, it has finally come true! The fanmeeting was an enjoyable experience!

Q. How did you feel about becoming Leeshin and Gyuwon after about a year later?
ShinHye: I did not feel any stress, but Shin seems to not be able to find his feel since the rehearsal just then.
YongHwa: (Looking at SH’s photo on page 46) Wa, you look so pretty then!
ShinHye: Thank you, (Looking at YH’s attached poster) Wa~ So handsome, who is this? Do you know him?
YongHwa: Hohoho, Shin is really handsome!

ShinHye: Even though it doesn’t happen now, I used to grow splinters during practising. I was very happy to play the gayageum after so long, it has brought up many memories!
YongHwa: We can probably play a band and traditional music band duet if you practised long enough, the atmosphere would be even more high.
ShinHye: The stupid members are too busy
YongHwa: It was a regret the stupid members could not come together and perform for everyone!

Q. What about comparing Singer Yonghwa and Actor Yonghwa?
ShinHye: I think the music stage allows Yonghwa to completely reveal his leadership skills and power but he can channel the reserved and quiet inner self during acting to give his character more charm. This can all be felt through the camera lens. After seeing him putting in more and more effort and growing up to where he is today, this is what I feel about him as a person who has been guarding beside him.

She is very into her character during Heartstrings so I felt like Gyu won was becoming more like Shinhye.

ShinHye: A.. I received Yonghwa’s flowers during 2012 Baeksang Arts Awards! But the cameras wasn’t filming him when he was giving me flowers secretly from behind. I told him to be more upright next time and give flowers upfront.
YongHwa: Actually I wasn’t caught on the camera a year ago. I wanted to be more upright and pass the flowers to Shinhye this time round, who would know I would get jitters at the last minute. I would be more bold the next time I give flowers!
ShinHye: My thoughts have changed slightly from previously, we are currenly only in a relationship where we call each other when necessary? (laughs)
YongHwa: Yes.. So when exactly is necessary?

Q. What do you want to do in the summer?
ShinHye: I will be acting as a law student in the movie 23th December from end of July. I have already started preparing for my role. As this role is different from my previous role, I have been looking forward to it. I want to have a summer holiday… but I have not decide what to do. (Stares at manager while saying) Maybe I want to challenge myself to skin diving (diving without oxygen tank)
YongHwa: I will be releasing a new Japanese single Come on on 1st August, I will be back in Japan. I had a break recently, I went back to Busan for about 3 weeks. I had a great time so I will be working non-stop during the summer.
ShinHye: I will be acting as a law student in the movie 23th December from end of July. I have already started preparing for my role. 용화: 신은 얼마전에 김하늘 선배를 만나고 온 것 같아요.
신혜: 하하하하. 신사의 품격에서? (편주: 같은 드라마에 출연중인 CNBLUE의 멤버, 이종현을 위해 용화가 우정출연)
용화: 장동건 선배도 뵈었구요. 그러고 보니, 방송되던 날 신혜에게 연락이 왔었어요. 깜짝 놀랐다면서.
신혜: 단말극을 찍고 있던 중에 대기실에서 신사의 품격을 보고 있는데, 갑자기 용화가 나오는거예요. 바로 핸드폰으로 사진 찍어 보냈죠. "지금 너 나온다" 구요. 장동건씨를 바라보면서 거북한 표정을 짓는 게 아주 재밌었습니다.
용화: 하하하하하.
두 번의 공연을 통해
서로의 생각을 꿰뚫는 사이로
Q. 신혜씨는 전에 두 분이 서로 손톱까지도 손질해주는 관계라고 하셨었는데, 지금 두 분의 관계를 정의한다면요?
용화: 음...시상식에서 축하 꽃다발을 건네는 관계?
신혜: 아, 2012년 4월 백상예술대상에서 인기상을 받았을 때 용화씨로부터 꽃을 받았어요. 뒤쪽으로 슬쩍 돌아와서 주는 바람에 카메라에는 잘 잡히지 않았지만, "다음에는 앞에서 당당하게 줘" 라고 말했었죠.
용화: 실은 작년에도 카메라에 안 찍혔었어서, 이번에야말로 당당히 건네주자!고 생각했는데, 왠지 모르게 그 현장에서 좀 위축되어서...다음에는 꼭 당당하게 건네 줄겁니다!
신혜: 전 예전이랑 좀 바뀌었어요. 지금은 필요할 때만 전화하는 관계랄지? (웃음)
용화: 훗. 네네, 그래서 뭐가 필요하신가요?
신혜: 농담이야, 농담, 넌내반때는 손톱정리를 해주진 않았구요... (잠시 생각) 지금에 와선 서로의 표정만 봐도 상대방이 무슨 생각을 하는지 아는 관계? 왜냐면 굉장히 오랜만에 만났는데도 우리 둘은 촬영했던 그 때가 새록새록 기억나고, 하나도 변한 것 같지 않거든요.
Q. 듣기로는 정말 친한 사이어서, 애정씬을 찍을때 더 힘들었다던데요. 부끄러워서 대사를 하기 어려웠나요?
용화: 부끄럽기보다는 오글거리는 느낌이 든것 같아요.
신혜: 응. 우리 둘다 오글거린 정도는 비슷한 것 같아.
용화: 특히 "넌 내게 반했어"라는 주문을 걸어주는 신이라든지.
신혜: "절대 웃지 말고 진지하게 하자!"고 하고 촬영을 하는데, 전혀 소용이 없어요. 먼저 신이가 규원이에게 주문을 걸고, 그 다음에 뮤지컬 본방 장면에서 규원이가 신이에게 말해주는데, 두번째 말하는 저는 오히려 괜찮았는데, 용화가 완전 "아하하하하하"하고 크게 웃었죠. 몸을 막 떨면서. (웃음)
Q. 만일 세번째로 작품을 같이 하게 된다면 어떤 관계가 될까요?
용화: 헉, 만일 세번이나 작품을 같이 한다면 엄청난 인연이겠네요. 그런데 과연 시청자분들께서 작품에 빠지실 수 있을까요?
신혜: 음. 아마 그다지 좋아하지 않을 것 같아요. 그러니까 연인으로 말고, 동료로라든지.
용화: 아, 신혜씨가 부잣집 아가씨고, 저는 그녀의 운전기사라던지? (굵은 목소리로) "아가씨, 도착했습니다."
신혜: 경찰 역할도 재밌을 것 같아요! 저희가 콤비로 나오는 것도 잘 어울릴 것 같아.
용화: 전 예전부터 신혜씨에게는 파일럿 역할이 잘 어울릴거라고 생각했어요. (신혜 매니저를 향해) 그렇죠?
신혜: 저보고 계속 그래요, 파일럿 역할을 해 보라고.
Q. 마지막으로 '넌내반' 광고 한번 해주세요.
신혜: 핸섬한 남자 오빠 이신이 출연합니다! 스튜피드 멤버들도 멋지구요. 상큼한 남자들이 많이 나와요!
용화: 훈남 준희도 출연합니다 (웃음). 통통 튀듯 밝고, 파스텔 빛깔이 잘 어울리는 드라마입니다.
Q. 올 여름은 어떻게 보낼 예정이신가요?
신혜: 2012년 7월 말부터 영화 "12월 23일"을 촬영할 예정이예요. 저는 법학도 역할이어서, 모의법정에 대한 공부도 시작했구요. 지금까지와는 꽤 색다른 모습을 보여드리게 되지 않을까 저도 기대하고 있습니다. 그리고 여름 휴가도 가고 싶은데...아직 정해진 것은 없구요. (말하면서 매니저를 바라봄). 스킨다이빙에도 도전하고 싶어요.
용화: 전 8월 1일 일본에서 CNBLUE의 새 생글 "Come on"이 발매되기 때문에 다시 일본에 올 예정입니다, 최근까지 휴가를 받아서 부산 집에서 3주쯤 지냈구요. 충분히 즐겁게 놀다가 왔기 때문에 여름 동안에는 더 이상 쉬지않고 열심히 일할 겁니다!

CNBLUE’s Yonghwa produced 17 songs in just first half of the year
It’s been reported that CNBLUE member Yonghwa had produced 17 songs in the first half of the year alone.
Yonghwa’s producing talent was acknowledged when he gifted his song “Stupid” to FNC Music‘s rookie singer Juniel, and also when he gave his “Love is Only You” to the agency’s rookie girl group AOA who just debuted on July 30th.
In addition, CNBLUE’s upcoming first Japanese full-length album holds 9 of Yonghwa’s self produced songs. Their 3rd mini album, ‘Ear Fun‘, released in March also held five of Yonghwa’s songs.
According to FNC, Yonghwa had been consistently working on producing new songs in between his busy schedule and is currently working on producing new songs for CNBLUE’s next album.
Meanwhile, CNBLUE released their third single ‘Come On‘ in Japan on August 1st. They will really buckle down and target Japan’s music scene with the release of their first Japanese full-length album’Code Name Blue‘ on August 29th.
